I bow to the lotus feet of Lord Ganesha, who is served by the Ganas, who eats the fruits of the jackfruit and the fig tree, and who is the son of Uma, and who is the cause of the destruction of sorrow.

O Lord Ganesha, you are curved-trunked, great-bodied, and your splendor is equal to a million suns. Please remove all obstacles from all my tasks, always.

I bow to the one-tusked, four-armed, pot-bellied, elephant-headed, smoky-colored, three-eyed, curved-trunked, and great-bodied Lord Ganesha.

I bow to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles.

I meditate on Ganesha, the one with a big head, and I contemplate on the one with a curved trunk. May the one with a tusk inspire me.
